Industrial Portable Mixers Model AQTG is
our heavy duty gear driven top entering open tank swivel mounted mixer.
Model AQTG features heavy gage high strength cast aluminum housing with oversized
bearings. The 3” 16AMP adapter is constructed of 316L {Low Carbon} Stainless Steel for
mounting to a suitable tank welding ferrule. The tank ferrule can be
located using an angular offset mounting arrangement, which eliminates the need
for in-tank anti-swirl baffles to eliminate potential in-tank sites for
contamination or hang-up.
The sanitary adapter assembly
configuration will achieve a hermetically sealed tank environment, which is
generally 0-3 PSIG. also contains a serviceable excluder trap to provide a physical
barrier to exclude foreign matter and hardware.
The ACUMIX Model AQTG features a 98% efficient
single helical gear reduction of 5:1. They
gears are constructed of high strength (4140 Steel) with a AGMA Service Factor
that readily exceeds 1.5 based on the motor nameplate rating (SF > 1.5
is classified moderate shock, continuous 24 hour per day).
The gear box assembly shall be supplied with food grade lubricant.
The L10 bearing life of the Model AQTG mixer assembly readily exceeds
100,000 hours {11.41 years}. Please
note that our gear reduction is not made from inefficient “soft-wear” worm
gearing, cheap planetary gearing, nor is our design adapted to a cheap
commercially available gear-motor assembly.
The motor is an energy savings high pressure wash down 208-230/460 Volt,
60 Hertz, 3 Phase, either TENV (Non-Ventilated) or TEFC (Fan Cooled) design with
an electrostatically applied white epoxy finish with tropicalized class F
insulation and a 1.15 Service Factor.
Motor options include single phase, premium efficient, intrinsically safe variable
speed air motors and variable speed motor options. Un unpainted corrosion
resistant design using external stainless steel hardware with an all stainless
motor is also available. The solid one-piece output shaft features our
ACUMIX quick release chuck design, which is constructed of 316L {low carbon}
stainless steel with 316SS external hardware. This output shaft design is precision aligned with the housing,
bearings, and gearing to minimize shaft deflection and enable ease of
installation. Please note that non-aligning, non-concentric split
couplings are not used. The agitator shaft length is as indicated with a single (1) removable three
bladed high efficiency hydrofoil
impeller with inherent stabilization. We have available numerous other impeller
options suitable for high viscosity, dispersion with additional types for
various other process conditions. All wetted parts will be constructed of 316L {Low
Carbon) Stainless Steel with 316SS hardware. Each mixer will be
