Low Speed RPM Low
Headroom Fixed Base Plate or Angular Offset Angle Riser Mounted Mixers Model AQO3X - Specifications
Industrial Portable Mixers
manufactures Low Speed RPM Low Headroom Fixed Base Plate or Angular Offset Angle
Riser double helical
parallel shaft gear driven mixers. We also have numerous other open and closed tank (hermetically
seals and pressurized} mixer design mounting options available. Please
reference our mixer specifications and pricing matrix below.
Today's gear driven portable mixing applications demand
durable process equipment accompanied by total support for your mixing
needs. We offer a complete line portable mixers. We provide superior materials of construction throughout to give
each mixer the strength & reliability that ensures the performance to the
standards of each Industrial Portable Mixer design.
Industrial Portable Mixer Model AQP3X is
our heavy duty gear driven top entering open tank fixed mounted non-painted
corrosion resistant mixer design which is completely constructed of both
aluminum and stainless steel components which is suitable for 95%+ of all mixing
applications. The ACUMIX Model AQO3X features a heavy gage high strength
cast aluminum housing with oversized bearings and all external stainless steel
hardware. The Pedestal Mount locates the
rigid/removable coupling above the mixers mounting surface for ease of
installation and to remove the coupling from direct process contact.
The pedestal elevation also aids in oil change servicing. Our base plate is constructed of either carbon steel or an
optional 316L {low carbon} stainless steel with 316SS hardware for
mounting to a suitable mixer support structure. The ACUMIX Model
AQO3X features a 96% efficient double helical gear reduction with gearing that
is constructed of high strength 86L20 carburized and hardened steel with an AGMA
Service Factor of that meets or exceeds 1.5 based upon the motor nameplate
rating (SF > 1.5 is classified moderate shock, continuous 24 hour per
day). We comply with AGMA’s strict requirement that no gear reduction
exceeds a ratio of 7:1. The model AQO3X provides a flexible motor coupling
interface between the motor and gearing to ensure alignment and provide ease of
installation and also to absorb inherent shock loads to safeguard the overall
life of the mixer. The L10 bearing life either meets or exceeds 100,000
hours (11.4 years) when the mixer is fully loaded 24/7. The oversized bearings are designed to
achieve superior L10 bearing lives ensuring long lasting mixer life. Please
note that our gear reduction is not made from inefficient “soft-wear” worm
gearing or cheap planetary gearing. Our design is of single purpose high
reliability construction where it is not adapted modularly with dual purpose
components such as matching cheap commercially available gear-motor assemblies
that have inherent design limitations.
The single purpose solid one-piece gearbox output is precision aligned with the
gearbox housing, bearings and gearing to ensure precise alignment to minimize
run out. Please note that non-aligning, non-concentric split couplings are never
used. To enable ease of installation the solid one-piece output shaft features either a
precision quick release {hollow shaft} chuck or a flanged rigid/removable coupling
assembly configuration
that is constructed either out of high alloy {strength} carbon steel or an optional
316L {Low Carbon} stainless steel with 316SS hardware. The flanged
rigid removable
coupling assembly features a rigid flanged coupling half, as part of the solid
one-piece output shaft, with a precise face
rabbet to assure alignment, and a removable flanged coupling, which ensures a
precision alignment with the gearbox housing, bearings, and gearing to minimize
agititator
shaft deflection and gearbox tolerance run out. The coupling assembly also enables ease of installation. Also included are corrosion
resistant brass & stainless fittings for lube points and also features a pressure release and a clear shatter
resistant plastic lube site. The pressure release normalize the internal heated
oil pressure as it expands, from a cold start, where the clear lube site will allow
you to externally observe the gearboxes oil level. The agitator
shaft is measured from the mixers mounting base. Numerous impeller configurations
for high flow or shear capability are
available from stock. Standard motor options include: 1750 RPM's either 115/208-230 Volt,
1-phase, IP55, 60 hertz or 208-230/460 Volt, 3-Phase, 50/60 Hertz, IP55, Class F
insulated, T3C temperature rise, inverter ready 5:1 constant torque, TEFC (Totally
Enclosed Fan Cooled) designs with commercially standard paint.
Available motor upgrades or options include:
 |
Food grade” high pressure wash down
all stainless or with electrostatically white epoxy finish, with
tropicalized class F insulation, TENV or
TEFC, and a 1.15 Service Factor
|
 |
Explosion
Proof - Class I, Group D or C&D, Class II, Group F&G, T3C)
|
 |
Intrinsically safe {suitable for explosion
proof environments) variable speed rotary vane or piston type air motors
totally enclosed with air muffler. |
 |
AC
& DC variable speed motor options. |
|
All wetted parts will be constructed
of the superior corrosion resistant 316L {Low Carbon} Stainless Steel with 316SS
hardware. Each mixers nameplate
will specifically state, "Manufactured in USA" and will be built with
pride and dedication. Some application such as for food processing are
available unpainted where an optional upgrade to paint the motor & gearbox
with a chemical resistant paint option is available upon request. Please
note, these mixers are far from common cheap throw away designs. After
years of reliable service, these mixer are designed to be easily and reliably
rebuilt and put back into service. |
